Recommended: Contact practitioner before placing order
Turn Around Time: 18 Days

Description

Precision Point Diagnostics’ Airborne Allergy Test (serum) measures the body’s immunoglobulin E (IgE) response to 85 common airborne allergens including pet dander, mold, dust mites, grasses, crops, trees, and weeds.

This test can be used instead of traditional skin prick testing to avoid exposing the patient directly to a potential allergen.

Airborne allergies are a common ailment among millions of people every year. Airborne allergies, which can often worsen during the spring and autumn, are particularly aggravating to the body and can include symptoms such as sneezing, itchy watery eyes, rhinitis, headaches, congestion, and in more extreme cases, asthma.

Methodology

Precision Point Diagnostics provides a reliable, reproducible semi-quantitative measurement of IgE using an indirect ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay).

When should I use

Precision Point Diagnostic’s Airborne Allergy Test allows you to pinpoint which airborne substances are causing an immune response.

Typical symptoms of airborne allergies include:
Headache
Congestion
Allergic Rhinitis
Sneezing
Itchy, Watery Eyes
Asthma
