Environmental Toxicity Urine Turn Around Time: 10 Days
Recommended: Contact practitioner before placing order
Turn Around Time: 10 Days

Description

Mycotoxins are small, molecular-weight, toxic molecules produced by various species of mould, some of which inhabit water damaged homes or buildings
The RealTime Labs mycotoxin test detects 16 different mycotoxins, including 9 macrocyclic trichothecenes. These are particularly important as they are known to be highly toxic and are produced by species such as Stachybotrys (“black mould”), shown to be present in mould contaminated buildings.

Methodology

Testing is done using competitive ELISA, a very sensitive detection method using antibodies prepared against mycotoxins.
Mycotoxins measured:
Verrucarin J
Verrucarin A
Satratoxin H
Satratoxin G
Roridin L-2
Roridin H
Roridin E
Roridin A
Ochratoxin A (OTA)
Isosatratoxin F
Gliotoxin
Aflatoxin B1
Aflatoxin

When should I use

Neurological conditions such autism, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. Diseases and symptoms linked to mycotoxin exposure include fever, pneumonia-like symptoms, heart disease, rheumatic disease, asthma, sinusitis, nose bleeding, cancer, memory loss, vision loss, chronic fatigue, skin rashes, depression, ADHD, anxiety, and liver damage. A study of patients with chronic fatigue found that all the patients had high levels of mycotoxins in the urine.
